We are thinking of letting our house in Leeds. It's a great house - central heating (new boiler), double glazing, lovely garden, all rooms are a good size. It's in a fab location (near the A660, so excellent bus and road connections to central Leeds/uni, but it's far enough out to be nice and quiet).
Agents say we can get about 1000/mo for it so that's what we're looking for - and we'll go with an agent if we can't find a tenant ourselves. But as they'll charge 10% for doing very little we thought we'd put this webpage together to try and find someone direct. So if you're interested, get in touch and we can do a deal:) Contact Roger on rogerdboyle@gmail.com. We're looking for a tenant for a year (or more).
The short version is - 4 bed 1930s semi, gas central heating, double glazing, garage, off-road parking, large garden, 2 receptions, 1k/mo ONO. The long version and lots of pics follow for those of you who might be interested...
There are two reception rooms - one with a bay window, and one with a large double glazed door looking out over the decking and the garden
The kitchen is fitted, has dishwasher and fridge, and a nice big new cooker with 5 rings/2 ovens
All the bedrooms are a good size - the smallest is 3m square. The attic bedroom is massive (6m by 5m - that's 19'8" by 16'2") with strangely sloping ceilingss and a view that goes as far as Emley Moor on a clear day. You could fit a double bed in all of them.
Attic
The middle floor bedrooms - from smallest to largest:
The bathroom has a separate shower cubicle, basin, bath, toilet
The garden is great. It's very very long (up to the big trees in this photo). We have two apple trees, loads of soft fruit (strawberries, gooseberries, raspberries, tayberries, blackberries, redcurrants, blackcurrants, loganberries), rhubarb plants, and there are a pair of cherry trees out the front. We'll be getting someone round to mow the lawn on a regular basis.
There's a large decking area, a shed, a greenhouse, and a pond.
There's also a garage with handy storage space & a strange "shed on stilts" extension out the back with even more storage
We've even got an energy cert - here it is:
